Maria Terracciano
MSc [Psychology], Cert CIPD L&D, ProfDip EMCC (pending)
Maria Terraciano is a dedicated Study Skills Coach who specialises in working with neurodivergent students at Neuromed Clinic. Whether they have ADHD, autism, dyslexia, or their brain works in other unique ways, Maria brings deep expertise to understanding and supporting their learning journey. With a Master's Degree in Psychology from Sapienza University of Rome and extensive training in educational psychology and learning processes, she offers a uniquely qualified perspective on neurodivergent learning styles.
Maria creates personalised study plans that work with each student's brain, not against it. Her approach focuses on finding strategies that match their unique learning style, helping them build on their strengths while developing new skills. She firmly believes that a different way of thinking isn't a flaw - it's a feature!
At Neuromed Clinic, Maria begins with a free Needs Assessment - a friendly conversation where she explores how each student's brain works best, identifies any challenges they might be facing, and creates a custom plan designed specifically for them. This initial session helps both parties determine if they are a good fit for working together. Following this, students can arrange regular coaching sessions to continue building their study skills and confidence.
Her academic background in Clinical and Community Psychology, combined with her understanding of educational development and learning theory, allows her to create effective, personalised learning strategies. Maria's warm, understanding approach creates a supportive environment where students can develop the tools they need for academic success, helping them reach their full potential in their educational journey.
