Dr. Nazila Goodarzian

Dr. Nazila is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist registered with both the General Medical Council (UK) and Irish Medical Council specialist registers. With nearly two decades of clinical experience since obtaining her medical qualification in 2004, she has developed extensive expertise across multiple psychiatric specialties, offering specialist care to both adults and children at Neuromed Clinic.


Her foundation years encompassed work in Forensic and General Adult Psychiatry, followed by comprehensive core training in the Wessex Deanery. At St. Ann Hospital Poole and in Bournemouth, UK, she gained valuable experience across diverse areas including General Adult, Later Life Psychiatry, Perinatal Psychiatry, Eating Disorders, and Acute Assessment.


Dr. Nazila completed her higher specialist training at the prestigious Maudsley Training Programme in London, followed by Beechcroft Child and Adolescent Mental Health Unit in Belfast. Her consultant career has spanned multiple jurisdictions, serving as a Consultant Psychiatrist in London, Northern Ireland, Dublin, and Cork.


Prior to transitioning to private practice in 2022, she worked as a crisis consultant in one of London's busiest NHS emergency departments. At Neuromed Clinic, she provides comprehensive assessments and treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions across all age groups, with expertise in in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with ADHD and ASD.


As a holder of a Level 5 Diploma in Leading Quality Improvement Projects, Dr. Nazila maintains a strong commitment to evidence-based practice and service development. She brings to Neuromed Clinic a wealth of experience in complex case management and multi-disciplinary team leadership. Her compassionate approach, combined with extensive clinical expertise, ensures that patients of all ages and their families receive comprehensive support throughout their mental health journey.
