Dr. Hari Rajendran, MD
Dr. Hari Rajendran is a dedicated member of the Neuromed Clinic, where he collaborates with fellow consultants to provide comprehensive ADHD services for both adults and children.
Dr. Rajendran completed his Medical Degree in Romania before advancing his career through Basic Specialist Training in Psychiatry with the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG). He has also completed specialised psychotherapy training at McMaster University in Canada, where he gained invaluable experience in various psychotherapy approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Family Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) skills for adults.
Clinically, Dr. Rajendran has worked with diverse patient populations in both public and private services throughout the west, midlands, and Dublin regions. Currently specialising in child and adolescent psychiatry, he brings particular insight into how ADHD diagnosis impacts children's academic and social performance. His comprehensive background also includes experience in treating adults with moderate to severe mental health conditions, forensic psychiatry training with the Central Mental Health Services, and specialised experience in eating disorders gained during his previous role at SJOG Stillorgan.
Dr. Rajendran's clinical expertise also encompasses autism spectrum disorders and co-occurring conditions, eating disorders, and complex mental health presentations in both children and adults.
