Dr. Ronel Barnard is a highly experienced medical doctor specialising in ADHD and other neurodevelopmental disorders. She graduated with an MB.Ch.B degree from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, in 1997. After completing her internship and community service, Dr. Barnard dedicated the next decade to psychiatric practice, working extensively in child and adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatry. During this time, she gained valuable experience treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse disorders, psychotic disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, ASD, and learning disorders.

In 2010, Dr. Barnard broadened her medical horizons by working as a senior ship's physician, traveling the world and gaining unique insights into diverse patient populations.
