General Mental Health Assessment
New Patient Assessment:
At NeuroMed Clinic, we understand the challenges that anxiety and depression can bring and are committed to providing comprehensive assessments and personalised treatment plans. To begin the process, a referral from your GP is required for mental health assessments.
Once referred, our team of consultant psychiatrists offer remote assessments, allowing you to undergo the evaluation process from the comfort of your own home. Prior to the consultation, you will need to complete a series of computerised assessment forms, enabling our experts to gather detailed information about your symptoms and experiences.
During the virtual consultation, our psychiatrists will engage in an in-depth discussion, ensuring a thorough understanding of your unique situation. Following the assessment, a detailed report outlining the diagnosis, recommendations, and a proposed treatment plan will be securely emailed to both you and your referring GP.
Depending on your specific needs, the treatment plan may include medication management, referrals to psychologists or therapists, or a combination of approaches. Our goal is to provide a tailored solution that addresses your individual circumstances and supports your journey towards improved mental well-being.
All of our consultant psychiatrists are registered with the Irish Medical Council, fully licensed, and insured to assess and treat individuals with mental health disorders
