After completing psychiatry training and earlier medical degrees in Ireland, he served as a Consultant Psychiatrist at Galway University Hospital before securing a position at a leading Canadian institution, Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, from 2015-2020. There, he also held an academic post at the University of Alberta. On his return to Ireland, Dr Murray worked briefly in St John of God hospital while also developing his own private clinic. He has comprehensive experience in treating neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD) and is United Kingdom Adult ADHD Network (UKAAN) accredited.
In addition, Dr. Murray has completed rigorous specialised training in advanced neuromodulation in Harvard and Duke Universities as well in other emerging therapies such as ketamine (Alberta, Canada). Dr Murray is the Medical Director and co-founder of Neuromed Clinic Ireland and Neuromed Clinic Canada and is an active member of the Clinical TMS Society (CTMSS) and Canadian Neuromodulation Society (CNS). Patients of Neuromed Clinic benefit from Dr. Murray’s specialised expertise and patient-first approach to accurately diagnosing and developing personalised multi-modal ADHD treatment plans.

Lisa’s doctoral research brought to light how the human rights of people with mental health disorders residing in state-run facilities can still be infringed upon by institutionalisation and outdated models of care. Her research has enlightened the ongoing discussion around patient dignity in modern psychiatry practice. In addition to her educational background, Lisa has worked professionally in Belfast City Hospital, Northern Ireland, Galway University Hospital, Ireland and as a specialist adviser to Alberta Health Services as a specialist in rehabilitation and recovery strategies 2017-2020.
In addition, Lisa has comprehensive experience in clinical supervision and teaching, including university lecturing and serves as a certified TMS technician and member of the Canadian Neuromodulation Society, remaining at the forefront of innovative treatment approaches. With her blend of academic excellence and diverse medical experience, she offers immense expertise to the Neuromed Clinic leadership team.
Elaine Cooney

With 20 years of specialist psychiatric and mental health experience, Elaine brings exceptional depth of knowledge to her work. Her academic background includes a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree, a postgraduate diploma in Community Mental Health and is a Registered Nurse Prescriber, she also holds a diploma in Personal, Business and Executive Coaching - a combination that underpins her uniquely holistic approach to patient care.
Having built a distinguished career as a Clinical Nurse Specialist with the HSE, Elaine made the decision to bring her expertise fully to Neuromed Clinic - a move that speaks to her belief in the clinic’s mission and the transformative potential of its treatments.
As Clinic Manager, Elaine oversees the day-to-day running of Neuromed, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational excellence. She is fully trained across all clinical devices used at the clinic, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), and personally delivers treatments to patients. Her hands-on involvement extends to patient audits and feedback processes, giving her a thorough understanding of patient outcomes and a genuine commitment to continuous quality improvement.
Beyond her clinical work, Elaine contributes to the strategic growth of Neuromed, playing an active role in marketing and the development of the clinic. Her leadership, expertise, and dedication to every aspect of the clinic’s work mean that Neuromed simply wouldn’t be what it is without her.
Elaine also offers life coaching services, drawing on her diploma in Personal, Business and Executive Coaching to help clients set meaningful goals and build lasting strategies for mental wellness - bridging the gap between clinical care and long-term personal growth.

Dr. Beatty is a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (Paediatrics), the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK), and the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland. This dual background informs her holistic and developmental approach to mental healthcare. She brings a strong background in service development, having led award-winning initiatives aimed at improving care for young people and their families.
Dr. Beatty has a particular interest in neurodiversity, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). She has extensive experience in the assessment and support of neurodivergent children and adolescents. Dr. Beatty works closely with families, schools, and other agencies to ensure children receive the support they need to reach their potential. Her work is grounded in thoughtful, practical, and evidence-based care, rooted in a deep understanding of the challenges facing children and families today.
Dr. Jennifer Keane

Dr Keane has developed significant expertise in managing complex mental health cases, often collaborating with professionals across paediatrics, primary care, and disability services. Her treatment approach incorporates various psychotherapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), with a special interest in trauma-informed care and clinical formulation.
Her areas of expertise extend beyond ADHD to include autism spectrum disorders and neurodiversity-affirming approaches. Dr Keane is committed to integrating the latest research into her clinical practice, with a particular interest in work by autistic researchers on neurodiversity and culture.
As a guest lecturer for postgraduate programmes at the University of Galway, Dr Keane demonstrates her commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of psychiatric advancements. Drawing from her rich experience in both public and private mental health services across Ireland, Dr Keane brings a unique perspective to her practice. Her approach emphasises evidence-based practice, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of neurodiversity.
She is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care tailored to the unique needs of each child and adolescent, making her an invaluable addition to Neuromed clinic specialising in mental health and ADHD.

Dr. Michal takes particular interest in managing complex psychiatric cases featuring co-occurring mental disorders and neurodevelopmental conditions. He stays at the leading edge of treatment innovations through his work implementing neuromodulation interventions such as TMS. With his blend of education abroad, academic knowledge, and practical Irish psychiatry experience across top hospitals in Cork, Dublin, and Galway, Dr. Michal brings immense expertise in diagnosis and multi-modal care. His goal is supporting improved quality of life for patients even with the most severe, complex mental health challenges

Specialising in Adult ADHD, Dr Cooper holds full accreditation from the United Kingdom Adult ADHD Network (UKAAN). She has established a comprehensive treatment approach that integrates evidence-based pharmacological interventions with tailored psychological therapies. Her clinical expertise extends to managing complex presentations of ADHD with co-existing conditions, including anxiety, depression and personality disorders.
Dr Cooper is deeply committed to professional development and service improvement. She has contributed to various initiatives aimed at enhancing mental healthcare practices, demonstrating a dedication to innovation and quality improvement. Suzanne Roche Nagle

With over 25 years’ clinical and medico-legal experience, Suzanne’s opinions are objective, independent, and evidence-based. Her assessments are grounded in detailed clinical interview, comprehensive review of documentation, and the use of validated psychometric testing, with diagnoses determined in accordance with DSM-5 criteria.
Suzanne is known for producing clear, balanced, and robust reports that are well-reasoned, defensible, and suitable for Circuit and High Court proceedings.

Dr Elkashif graduated with honours from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2013 and commenced specialist training in psychiatry in 2014. She has trained across a range of centres including Dublin, Kilkenny, Louth, and Galway, gaining broad clinical experience in the assessment and management of mental health difficulties across diverse settings.
She has developed a strong interest and expertise in forensic and medico-legal psychiatry, having completed part of her training in the Central Mental Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in the assessment of individuals within the criminal justice system. Her work includes medico-legal assessments relating to fitness to be tried, mental state at the time of the alleged offence, risk assessment, and the preparation of detailed court reports.
At Neuromed Clinic Ireland, Dr Elkashif provides independent medico-legal psychiatric assessments and reports, delivering clear, balanced, and evidence-based opinions to support legal proceedings. Her approach is thorough and objective, with particular emphasis on careful formulation, comprehensive risk assessment, and the application of clinical expertise to legal questions.

Throughout his career, Dr. Khalid has worked extensively with working-age adults across the full spectrum of psychiatric conditions. He is recognised for seamlessly integrating clinical excellence with compassion, ensuring dignity and care at every stage of the patient journey.
Dr. Khalid has held distinguished leadership and academic roles, including Clinical Services Group Director for Mental Health at Cwm Taf University Health Board in NHS Wales, Honorary Senior Lecturer at Cardiff University, and Interim Deputy Head of the School of Psychiatry at Wales Deanery (HEIW). His research contributions have been published in national and international journals and presented at leading conferences.
Central to his practice is the conviction that mental healthcare should be accessible, evidence-based, and of the highest quality—treating mental health conditions as both visible and valid while remaining fundamentally person-centered.

Tara has experience in mental health assessment, formulation, treatment, intervention, and behaviour change with children/adolescents, adults, and those living with additional needs. To date, Tara has worked extensively in private and public mental health, forensic and educational settings and charitable organisations where she has provided a psychological service to a broad range of clients presenting with severe and complex psychological, behavioural, and emotional difficulties along with enduring mental health difficulties. These difficulties include depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, attachment disorder, OCD, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and personality disorder.
Tara has a special interest in the assessment of neurodivergence among young people and adults. Having received a diagnosis of neurodiversity later in her own life, she has personal insight into how this has impacted her well-being, education and navigation of the world. Tara believes in conducting an empowering, collaborative neurodiversity-affirmative approach to adult, autism assessment where the individual feels valued, supported and listened to. She endeavours to provide a safe, secure and supportive space where she holds mutual respect for one's experiences and discovering their neurodiversity identity.

With a medical degree from Addis Ababa University and an MSc in Internal Medicine from the University of Edinburgh, Haben has developed significant expertise in pain management, enhanced through postgraduate studies at the University of Alberta and advanced training in Pain Medicine at KU Leuven University, Belgium. His clinical experience at Ghent University Hospital's pain management unit has provided him with extensive experience in treating complex pain cases.
Haben's holistic approach to patient care is underpinned by his qualification in Addiction Medicine from the University of British Columbia, enabling him to address the intricate relationships between chronic pain, mental health, and addiction. This comprehensive understanding allows him to provide integrated care for patients with complex needs.
A committed healthcare educator, Haben completed Harvard Medical School's Postgraduate Medical Education programme and currently pursues a Fellowship with the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. At Neuromed Clinic, he delivers personalised, evidence-based care combining cutting-edge TMS therapy with comprehensive patient assessment. As a committee member of the TMS Society, Haben contributes to developing protocols for TMS applications in pain management, advancing this innovative field.
Anna Glynn

Her practice emphasises a holistic, recovery-focused approach to mental health, with particular expertise in suicide prevention and self-harm interventions. She is currently conducting phase two of a research study funded by the National Office of Suicide Prevention (NOSP).
As a Trauma Specialist Yoga Teacher, Anna has seven years' experience in Autism and ADHD services, utilising sensory approaches and expertise in Sensory Attachment Intervention, PECS, and Lámh communication.
She believes in the therapeutic use of occupation for wellbeing and the mind-body connection, helping individuals identify strengths, build motivation and resilience, and work towards fulfilling lives.
In September 2023, Anna presented research with colleagues at the 32nd World Congress of the International Association of Suicide Prevention (IASP) in Piran, Slovenia. She is currently participating in innovative research trials investigating psychedelics for mental health issues and has completed specific training in psychedelic therapy.

At Neuromed Clinic, Maria begins with a free Needs Assessment - a friendly conversation where she explores how each student's brain works best, identifies any challenges they might be facing, and creates a custom plan designed specifically for them. This initial session helps both parties determine if they are a good fit for working together. Following this, students can arrange regular coaching sessions to continue building their study skills and confidence.
Her academic background in Clinical and Community Psychology, combined with her understanding of educational development and learning theory, allows her to create effective, personalised learning strategies. Maria's warm, understanding approach creates a supportive environment where students can develop the tools they need for academic success, helping them reach their full potential in their educational journey.

She specialises in helping people develop emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and self-efficacy through practical educational tools and frameworks.
Using evidence-based approaches, Eimear addresses challenges including motivation difficulties, planning and organisation issues, social situations, emotional management (anger, overwhelm, anxiety), and self-critical thinking.
