Before starting MeRT therapy, we begin with a WaveNeuro EEG – a simple, brain scan lasting around 30 minutes. Small sensors resting on the scalp record your brain’s outermost unique electrical activity, giving our clinical team a precise picture of how your brain is currently functioning and, crucially, what it should ideally look like.
This matters because no two brains are the same. The EEG allows us to design a MeRT treatment protocol that is entirely specific to you – targeting the right frequencies, in the right areas, from the very first session. Rather than applying a standard approach, we are working from your brain’s own blueprint.
The scan itself is effortless. You simply sit quietly while the recording takes place. Everything else happens in the analysis – translating your data into a personalised plan before treatment even begins.
